A simple five-step path to a calm cup. Times are a starting point — adjust to your own taste.五步静心泡法。时间为起点，可依口味自行调整。
- Warm the wares. Rinse the gaiwan, pot, and cups with hot water to wake the clay and hold the heat.温器。以热水温润盖碗、茶壶与杯，唤醒陶土、聚拢温度。
- Add the leaves. Start with about 5 g of tea for a gaiwan, or to your taste.投茶。盖碗约投茶 5 克，或随口味增减。
- First steep. Pour water just off the boil; steep 10–20 seconds for the first infusion.首泡。注水稍离沸，首泡浸润 10–20 秒。
- Pour & share. Decant into the fairness cup, then into each tasting cup — even and unhurried.出汤分茶。先入公道杯，再匀入各品茗杯——均匀而从容。
- Repeat. As the leaves open, shift the steep time. Six to eight infusions are common.续泡。叶展则汤随之增减，通常可泡六至八道。
